Crafty Girls ~ Valentines Day Paper Pretties 20

by Shelley

Hello Crafty Girls!

Valentines Day is not that far away so I thought I would share some other lovely craft projects I found just for you! And they are all made out of paper…

This one is made out of cupcake papers at Martha Stewart...that Martha is so creative 🙂

This craft project will give you a hand in celebrating Valentines Day…a great idea for Grandparents that live far away… *hint*

And finally, here is a new twist on the traditional Valentines Day card…

and let your imagination go wild….

Seriously, creating this blog is hard work and the paybacks are few and far between. Are you getting anything out of it? Please, I beg of you, leave a comment!

I know, it has finally come to this…I am begging you to leave a comment. LOL But in all honesty, I am often wondering if this is a good use of my time. I write, I put it out there, I find things for you and your girls to do…but I rarely get any comments. Not complaining, just saying. *sigh*

I have just found you and am Facebook-advertising it for ladies homeschooling in our church and anyone else. I wish the pages would be Facebook-able. I use a “smartphone” … tho computers are much better for posting pages to Facebook … or anything else for that matter … and I don’t have a PC. This Vslentine’s Day project is beautiful … THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I think we are now up to snuff for smartphones, Pinterest, and Facebook. Let me know if you have any issues!

Thank you! And thank you for the nudge to remind us that we need to remember to thank those who bless us. I read the blog daily, and I am saving all the posts for our summer study. We got way to busy this school year 🙁

I love the crafts, I am teaching my daughter and 3 other girls in a co-op that one of the best ways to bless others is to make them something from the heart. Sometimes for no particular reason.

Blessings to you!

Thank you so much for doing this blog. I have 4 girls and read it daily. I’m so grateful that you take the time to research and share. I feel that you have given me tools to be a better mom. If I could print off everything that you have blogged for this study I would. So if there is a way please let me know. I’ve told many of my friends about it. You have been such a blessing to me. God bless you.

So glad this is beneficial to you and your girls Amanda! You most certainly may print it off from our blog, just wondering, would it be useful to make this blog into an ebook?
Thanks for your kind word my dear…I so appreciate them!
Blessings,
Shelley

I am enjoying this blog, but I haven’t been doing the book with my daughter yet. She is 12 years old and started 7th grade this year. We are homeschooling and she goes to the local jr. high for choir. This has been a very different year, with lots of new curriculum and challenges and it is taking me (and her) a long time to get used to it. I know we need something sweet like Beautiful Girlhood to do together. I just can’t figure out how to get it into the schedule. Sigh. I appreciate your blog and have it sent to my e-mail and I have a folder that I save them all in so that when we do the book I will be able to at the blogs as we go along. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

That 12 year old year can be such a transition time, can’t it? And cutting time out in order to do something more is difficult. I do have a suggestion, on this CD, Mentoring Your Daughter, I address that very issues, the issue of not having any time to do the things we really want to do…You might want to take a look at it? You are very kind to write me these encouraging words….thank you!
Blessings,
Sehlley

I have just recently subscribed to your blog….I am a 66 yr. old female (took all I have to tell you my age!) I had purchase Beautiful Girlhood with the intent of using it as a resource for an inter-generational
girls/women’s event. The book is excellent and the blog info I have shared with one young mom already.
I see great value in what you are sharing in this blog format and would encourage to continue to do so if you are feeling this is God’s call upon you and your time.
I will pray that you will get the feedback necessary for you to decide if you continue to use your time in this way.
In any event be blessed today in every way that He has for you.
In Him, Sylvia

Sylvia,
You have encouraged my heart greatly! Thanks for tell me your age, I will certainly keep it a secret. 🙂 I am certain, that you see as I see that women need women. Younger women need older women, no matter if it be in the Mom to Daughter scenario or the Older Woman teaching the Younger Woman. Both, Titus 2 settings. Your idea of an inter-generational girls and women’s event is marvelous. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I love brainstorming….
Blessings,
Shelley

These little valentines are sweet. We decided to skip celebrating this year, because we just finished the lastwedding reception for our sons’ 2 out-of-state weddings in the past 6 months and I am TIRED of celebrating. Seeing these makes me reconsider. Maybe we have time today to do something fun after all. Thanks for your efforts – I am sure you have no more free time than the rest of us mothers; it is a blessing that you share some of it. I’m afraid I don’t manage my time that well!

Whew! Sounds like you have been very busy girl….and too pooped to party. I so understand that! Perhaps these little projects will not be burdensome, but rather a vehicle for fun and frivolity in your home? thank you dear Rachel for taking time out to affirm me and let me have a glimpse into your life. Be blessed today my friend,
Shelley

Thank you for your blog. I follow and enjoy reading your posts that correspond with the book, Companion Guide to Beautiful Girlhood, but I honestly do not look at the crafty ideas. Sadly, not a lot of time for crafts at our house.

I know Jennifer! Crafts would not be at the top priority at our house either, but I see the great value of doing something “fun” and “together” for moms and daughters. Thank you so much for your kind words my dear! <3
Blessings,
Shelley
