Crafty Girls ~ Ornament 11

by Shelley

Need to spruce up your tree with something new this year?

Try these quick, easy, and inexpensive ornaments:

You will need:

  • 4×6 prints
  • pre-cut holiday foam shapes
  • sewing machine — (Or experiment with different glues if you don’t sew.)
  • cutter of some kind — (Scissors would work, you just need to trim your prints.)
  • hot glue gun
  • several strips of ribbon cut into 4 inch long strips (for hanging)
  • self-adhesive foam shapes for additional decoration

Do:

1. Find images you like and print them.  Cut them to the size you want.

2. Sew the images to the foam.  Yes, use your sewing machine on the picture and the foam.  (If you don’t have a sewing machine you can experiment with various glues.)

3. Trim loose threads.

4. Glue ribbon to the back so you can hang it on the tree.

5. Decorate with self-adhesive foam shapes.

6. Hang and enjoy.

Or, wrap it up and send it off to family for their tree.  Very inexpensive Christmas gifts for sure and the shipping cost is so small, they practically weigh nothing.

Happy Holidays,

(Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years)
