Crafty Girls ~ Thanksgiving Swag 9

by Shelley

Ooooh, I love fall.

The Hackberry trees that surround our farm house have lost all their leaves and for this farmer’s wife, the harvest is over and there are just so many things for our family  to be thankful for.

Bob, my sweet husband

My son Joshua who is working in Ukraine

My son Jacob and his new bride Kylee

My Daughter Laura and her sweet husband Torry

Grandson Connor

Grandson Ethan

A restored relationship with my Mother

My faithful, every patient and kind husband Bob ( he deserves a double mention)

Our new German Shepherd rescue dog Odin

{I could go on and on}

This fall project was found on the Simply Modern Mom blog and is perfect as the preparation process for Thanksgiving. It is called a Thanksgiving Garland.

You and your daughter can involve the whole family in this project. After you cut out the leaves, get a sharpy and record all the reasons your family members are thankful. A great reminder of God’s goodness and mercy throughout the year. This craft could easily be done annually,saved and brought out each year during Thanksgiving time to review God’s faithfulness.

I can’t wait to see how your projects turned out. Can you post them on Facbook on Friday? Also in the comment section, list what you are thankful for!

I am thankful for my daughter’s growing desire to draw closer to God!
